Rockland House St. Patrick’s Day Party Raises $1,500

For Boys & Girls Clubs of Sullivan County

On March 17, 2010 The Rockland House hosted its First Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party. The event boasted more than 100 guests and raised $1525 for Boys & Girls Clubs in Sullivan County.

Three local bands; "Far Beyond Gone”, "Brian Tice”, and "Deep Chemistry” provided 10 hours of musical entertainment free of charge, thought the highlight of the night was the traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner. The corned beef was generously donated by Shoprite of Liberty, Garry’s Great American and individual donations from the Liberty School District teachers. Tom and Marea Roseo, owners of The Rockland House, donated all of the cabbage, potatoes and rolls for the event, as well.

This event was a great time for all attendees, and demonstrates how much can be accomplished when our communities come together to help meet the mission of all Boys & Girls Clubs, "To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring responsible citizens.”
