Before School Program (Grades K-5)
Our Before School Program offers parents/guardians a safe, supervised program to drop their children off before school begins. Our Before School Program is held at the Clubhouse at Circleville Park and is open to registered members from the Circleville & Pakanasink Elementary Schools. Before School Program begins at 6:30 am. At approximately 8:45 am the children are bused to nearby Circleville Elementary School where the district provides transportation to Pakanasink Elementary School, if needed.
The Before School Program is an abbreviated program, focusing on quiet games and activities and some gym time, where Club kids wake up and get ready to start their day! Tutoring help is available, as is study help, and the Club kids can bring their own breakfast or buy it from the school cafeteria. Snacks are also available (free of charge) for those who need them!
After School Program (Grades K-8)
Our After School Program opens at the end of the school day, providing parents/guardians with safe, supervised programs for their children during the critical after school hours when it matters most. Our After School Program is also held at the Clubhouse at Circleville Park and is open to registered members from the Circleville Elementary and Middle Schools and Pakanasink Elementary School. At the end of the school day, Club members gather at the Circleville Elementary School, via school district transportation, and are bused to the Clubhouse at Circleville Park at approximately 3:45 pm. Parents pick up their children from the Clubhouse at Circleville Park by close of program at 6 pm.
The After School Program focuses on providing every Club kid with a few essentials each day: a healthy snack, homework help or tutoring, and FUN activities.
Most Club locations start with snack and Power Hour, an hour for the Club kids to focus on homework, studying for upcoming tests, and playing games or completing activities designed to reinforce the lessons they learn during the school day.
All Club locations also focus on the five core areas of youth development: Character & Leadership, Health & Wellness, The Arts, Sports & Recreation and Education & Career Development. All Club locations also complete a monthly community service project and have a monthly guest speaker to keep things interesting!
Safety for our Club kids is the highest priority for our organization.
All staff members undergo annual criminal background checks and all Program Staff also undergo annual fingerprint clearance from New York State, are CPR and First Aid-certified, and receive a minimum of 15 hours of youth development training annually.
