What We Do
Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club offers before- and after-school programs and summer day camps to support the learning, altruism, and achievement of students in our community for 31 years. Effective programming brings a wide range of benefits to children, families, and the community: boosting academic performance, reducing risky behaviors, promoting physical and mental health, and providing safe and structured environments for children.
We design programs that provide enriching environments for students outside of school hours, offering activities to promote social-emotional development, academic achievement, and physical wellness. To help address increasing poverty and food insecurity levels in our communities, we provide Club Kids with healthy meals and snacks daily at no cost. We Serve 30,000 snacks and 11,000 meals every year.
Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club provides care to every child regardless of financial status. We turn no family away due to financial insecurity, instead offering scholarships so that every child who needs us has support. Because every child deserves access to fundamental supports: safe and stimulating environments, nutritious food, and meaningful relationships.
We believe that every child deserves access to the most fundamental and important things: safe and stimulating environments, nutritious food, and meaningful relationships.
Every day starts with enabling young people to reach their full potential, and every day ends with a smile.
