Michelle Semerano
Michelle, a native of Orange County, NY, has been actively volunteering with Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club since 2009. Before joining the Board, she participated in the Sullivan County Celebrity Dinner, portraying characters like Liza Minelli, Betty Rubble, Little Red Riding Hood, and many others. In 2017, Michelle joined the steering committee for the Grown Here: Farm to Table Dinner, and in 2019, she was honored to become a member of the Board of Directors. Throughout her tenure, she has held various leadership roles, including Board Chair. In 2024, she expanded her involvement by representing Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club and other local clubs in the New York Eastern and Western Councils as part of the National Area Council Committee with Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
After graduating from college in 2008, Michelle embarked on a career in radio, seizing an internship opportunity at Thunder 102, a local radio station in Sullivan County, during a challenging economic period. Her hard work quickly earned her a full-time position, and over eight years, she rose from intern to Program Director and On-Air Personality. In 2017, Michelle transitioned to a new career path at Resorts World Catskills, where she has since advanced from Advertising Specialist to Promotions & Special Events Manager, and is currently serving as the Director of Online Marketing for Genting Americas East.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University and currently resides in Middletown, NY.
