Steven Gross
Steve Gross is a lifelong resident of Orange County, NY who grew up in Scotchtown and attended Middletown Schools. He presently lives in the Town of Greenville with his wife Valerie, has two boys Anthony and his wife Melanie and Ryan who attends SUNY New Paltz.
Mr. Gross is a career government administrator who has worked for over 29 years in local government in Orange County. After holding the position of Assistant City Manager in the City of Newburgh, Mr. Gross went onto a distinguished career in Orange County Government, having worked directly for the past three county executives in various high-level positions, including: Assistant to the County Executive, County Director of Operations and Cost Control, Deputy County Executive, Acting County Executive, Commissioner of Human Resources, and presently as County Director of Economic Development.
Mr. Gross brings a tremendous wealth of experience to the Office of Economic Development. In this important role he works directly with County Executive Steve Neuhaus to expand Orange County’s tax base by creating jobs for residents and supporting the growth of businesses, industry and commerce.
